On 2012/06/06
News of a major breach at LinkedIn hit the wires a couple of days ago. You can read more about it here. The upshot of the article is that you should immediately change your password. Here is how:
- Go to LinkedIn in your browser and sign in.
- Hover your mouse over your name in the upper right corner of the browser window and select Settings.
- Select Password Change in the browser.
- Enter your old password and a new, long, secure password. A secure password includes upper and lower case letters, numbers and punctuation marks. (Make a note of your new password.)
- Click the Change Password button to save your new password.
