Is it the beginning of the next depression or only a severe recession? [Update: A friend suggested we call it the Great Recession.] No matter what we call it there are implications for us in this current economic climate. One of the unexpected consequences may be increasing hardware prices rather than a continuing decline, which we have become accustomed to over the past several decades.
