Firefox and Safari – turn on spell check in OS X
On 2009/09/10
If you run Mac OS X, Leopard or Snow Leopard, here is how to turn on automatic spell checking.
Firefox 3.5.x
1. Go to the menu Firefox —> Preferences…
2. Select the Advanced tab
3. Check the box Check my spelling as I type
4. Close the window
Safari 4.0.x
1. Go to the menu
2. Select Edit —> Spelling and Grammar —> Check Spelling While Typing ![]()
