Microsoft Security Essentials Sees Virus in “Commands in Demand” software from Vasilios Freeware
On 2009/08/19
Microsoft Security Essentials popped up with the following message on my Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit computer a few moments ago:
After clicking the Apply actions button, MSE reported this:
The Vasilios Freeware site says:
Antiviruses’ fake alerts report…
• In some occasions alerts of Antiviruses may be reported.
• These alerts are completely fake and they have to do with the fact that the program is compressed using the UPX packer.
Who should I believe MSE or Vasilios?
